The battle of Armageddon is a great, future war that will be fought at Mount Megiddo (present day Palestine) that will conclude the seven years of great tribulation. This will be the most devastating of all wars humanity will experience.  All of the events during the Great Tribulation will gravitate to this decisive and grave moment when Jesus Christ returns and defeats and destroys the enemy.  No one can predict when this will happen with certainty. Only that it will happen (Matthew 24:36).

The Book of Revelation Chapter Sixteen.

Chapter sixteen represents the climax of God's wrath during the Tribulation. Here we observe the preparation for the battle Armageddon as described in verses 12-16. This battle is the final and decisive war and it is more than just a physical war.   All of the forces of good and evil will be fighting for power in hopes of prevailing over God's people and preventing the Lord's Second Coming to the earth.

What is very disturbing about this climax is that there is no invitation to repent... probably because no repentance is shown. This is a rapid fire situation in a very short period of time that effects the entire globe.

  • Judgment Sounded - vs.1a

a.  A Message Is Heard - vs.1a.   ...I heard a great voice...
b.  A Mission Is Heard - vs.1b   ...saying to the seven angels...

  • Judgment Sown - vs.1c-f ...Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God...

a.  The Means Of Sowing - 1c   ...seven angels...
b.  The Method Of Sowing - vs.1d   ...pour out...
c.  The Matter of Sowing - vs.1e   ...the wrath of God...
d.  The Measure Of Sowing - vs.1f   ...upon the earth.
