Epistle of James Chapter 4 continued:
II. Christians Soiled Within - vs.4
III. Christians Oiled By God - vs.5,6
Note How God Gains Access To The Believer's Heart:
a. Honor The Lord With Your Mouth - vs.11,12
b. Honor The Lord With Your Motive - vs.13,17
God's perspective on life is the driving instinct of the Believer and will always stimulate affection for an unswerving love for the Word of God. Only Christians who acknowledge their life is Jesus Christ will fervently and faithfully abide as committed doers of the Word and cannot be displaced by another kind of usefulness.
Sincerely, Dr. Arthur Belanger
Epistle of James Chapter Four. Chapter four highlights the strife and division that is so common among Christians that ultimately stem from unsatisfied and discontented prideful hearts. Their thinking is preoccupied with worldly intentions that are contrary to the will of God. Simply put: James is telling them... they need a brain washing.
I. Christians Boiling Within - vs.1
II. Christians Toiling Without - vs.2,3
